A little over a year ago, I left my job of twenty years to write full time. My first book Beyond the Golden Hour was a success in many ways, but most especially in that it allowed me to begin a conversation with veterans from a variety of services. I was moved by their support, and challenged to find a way to honor them with the next installment of the story. Many veterans offered to help out with the sequel, and I believe this book accomplishes its intended goal: to tell an authentic action story while honoring the men and women I admire.
The Stars and Their Places is entering the home stretch. It will be available for purchase in mere days, and I could use your help.
“How?” you may ask.
~ If you enjoyed Beyond the Golden Hour, please leave a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads. The reviews really do matter for visibility in search engines.
~ Share it on social media.
~ If you sent a copy of Beyond the Golden Hour to a friend or loved one, ask them how they liked it and let them know the sequel is about to hit the shelves. All new purchases of a paperback on Amazon can also receive a kindle for just $0.99 (regular Kindle price is $2.99). Perhaps forward this post to their email.
~ Subscribe to vinceguerra.com/allies. In the next several days I will be posting a series on war movies including short scenes I believe you will enjoy. These have impacted me over the years, and perhaps we can all draw lessons from them.
~ Contact your local bookstores or Costco Wholesale about carrying it on their book table. I was fortunate to get Beyond the Golden Hour into the Costcos in Alaska. More than any other company, Costco takes customer suggestions very seriously.
~ If you know a veteran who would like a free digital copy of Beyond the Golden Hour and is willing to leave a review, message me at contact@vinceguerra.com.
To all the service members who have given to our country: Thank you. And everyone else, thank you for reading.
Blessings,
Vince
